About the Role:



JRM Hospitality is seeking an experienced Head Chef to join their team in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane.



This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-established and respected hospitality group, with a strong company culture and a talented team.



As Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing a team of 8-10 chefs, working closely with the Executive Chef on menu development, and staying on top of costs and stock levels.



You will need to have excellent time management and organisational skills, a solid understanding of current food trends, and previous experience in a similar role.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Manage a team of 8-10 chefs in a multi-outlet and multi-level kitchen
  • Work with the Executive Chef on menu development and special occasion menus
  • Stay on top of COGs and keep in line with the company directive
  • Manage daily ordering, liaising with suppliers, and conducting regular stocktakes
  • Lead the team from the front, train and mentor at all levels, and encourage a collaborative culture between all departments
