Crisis Management Leader for Enterprise Resilience

About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Crisis Management Leader to join our team at Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ). This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring ANZ's preparedness and resilience in the face of unexpected events and emergencies.
Job Description
The successful candidate will lead proactive crisis preparedness efforts, develop and implement crisis management plans, conduct risk assessments, and manage incident response. They will also participate in post-crisis reviews to assess response effectiveness and identify lessons learned.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have demonstrated experience in crisis management, emergency response, or a related field at an Enterprise level. Relevant professional certifications or qualifications in business continuity management, risk management, emergency management, or a related field are desirable.
You will also need to have strong leadership skills, capable of making critical decisions under pressure and guiding teams through complex and challenging situations. Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, with the capacity to interact confidently and convey information clearly and effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing crisis management plans that encompass various scenarios and potential risks.
- Leading proactive crisis preparedness efforts, including conducting risk assessments and identifying requirements for plans and training.
- Managing incident response, including developing, implementing, and managing processes for immediate response to incidents.
- Participating in post-crisis reviews to assess response effectiveness and identify lessons learned.
What We Offer
In return for your expertise and experience, we offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of approximately AU$120,000 per annum, plus benefits such as access to health and wellbeing services, discounts on selected products and services from ANZ, and flexible working arrangements.
