About the Role:
As an Enterprise Crisis Manager at ANZ, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the bank's preparedness and resilience in the face of unexpected events and emergencies. This position demands strategic foresight, strong leadership, and the ability to foster a culture of readiness across all levels of the organisation.
The successful candidate will contribute directly to ANZ's mission of strengthening its resilience by leading the bank's central coordination, communication, and overall management of crisis events. As an Enterprise Crisis Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing crisis management plans that encompass various scenarios and potential risks. You will also lead proactive crisis preparedness efforts, conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities, and develop internal stakeholder communication strategies.
You will also conduct training and simulation exercises, organise and facilitate regular training sessions and simulations to raise awareness and prepare stakeholders/staff for crisis scenarios. Additionally, you will manage incident response, develop, implement, and manage processes for immediate response to incidents, ensuring swift and effective response.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure development and refinement of crisis management plans. You will also participate in post-crisis reviews to assess response effectiveness and identify lessons learned to recommend improvements to crisis management plans and procedures.
To succeed in this role, you will ideally bring demonstrated experience in crisis management, emergency response, or a related field at an Enterprise level. Relevant professional certifications or qualifications in business continuity management, risk management, emergency management, or a related field are desirable.
You will have proven experience developing and implementing risk assessment and mitigation strategies, as well as an understanding of the financial services industry, relevant regulators (e.g., ASIC, APRA, AUSTRAC), and current and proposed financial services regulatory and legislative requirements.
