Strategic Crisis Manager Lead

About the Role
This Enterprise Crisis Management Lead position plays a critical role in ensuring ANZ's readiness and resilience in the face of unexpected events and emergencies. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the bank's central coordination, communication, and management of crisis events.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement crisis management plans that encompass various scenarios and potential risks, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Lead proactive crisis preparedness efforts, including risk assessments, stakeholder communication strategies, and training and simulation exercises.
- Manage incident response, including developing and implementing processes for immediate response to incidents, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Participate in post-crisis reviews to assess response effectiveness, identify lessons learned, and recommend improvements to crisis management plans and procedures.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in crisis management, emergency response, or a related field, at an Enterprise level, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Relevant professional certifications or qualifications in business continuity management, risk management, emergency management, or a related field are desirable.
- Proven experience developing and implementing risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Strong leadership skills, capable of making critical decisions under pressure, and guiding teams through complex and challenging situations.
- Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, with the capacity to interact confidently and convey information clearly and effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
