Senior Management Opportunity

We are partnering with a leading Education sector organisation to recruit their Senior Manager, Business Resilience and Critical Incidents.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned business resilience leader to join our client's leadership team. As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for leading the strategic development, implementation, and ongoing management of Business Resilience capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Business Resilience Framework in partnership with relevant business owners.
  • Design and deliver fit-for-purpose business resilience management systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop education, training, and information programs to enhance organisational capability.
  • Provide strategic advice and recommendations to executive management on business resilience matters.
  • Foster relationships with key external partners, including emergency services, regulatory agencies, and government bodies.
  • Serve as the Crisis Management Team strategic and operational lead, ensuring effective response to emergencies or adverse events.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar business resilience leadership role, with a proven track record of implementing frameworks and managing related risks.
  • Significant leadership experience supporting senior executive teams in strategic planning, business continuity, and risk management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading critical incident/crisis management functions, including effective coordination and mobilisation of teams during and post-event.
  • Excellent interpersonal, cross-cultural, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and work through challenges.
  • Proven relationship management and consulting skills.

What We Offer

  • An attractive salary package, estimated at around £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
