The Cumberland City Council is seeking two dynamic and motivated Governance Officers to join our team. As a Governance Officer, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the council and its committees.
About the OpportunityThis role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about governance and administration to make a real difference in our community.
The successful applicants will have relevant business administration qualifications or experience in a similar role, as well as excellent organisational and meeting planning skills. They will also have high-level knowledge of corporate systems such as MS Office and Electronic Document Management Systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative support to the council and its committees
- Assisting with the timely completion of meeting agenda papers
- Coordinating and implementing successful civic activities and events
