Job Opportunity: Draftsperson for Residential Home Design

We are seeking a skilled professional to contribute to the evolution of award-winning home designs and be part of a dynamic team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Accurately modelling new house designs in ArchiCAD
  • Producing detailed documentation for use by internal departments
  • Employing critical analysis to improve design and documentation quality
  • Liaising with designers for efficient product development
  • Maintaining existing ArchiCAD modules and master plans
  • Maintaining knowledge of relevant building codes and Australian Standards

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum educational qualification in Diploma of Building Design or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and downstream impacts of design modifications
  • Minimum 2 years' Architectural Drafting experience in residential home design
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Effective time management skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Previous ArchiCAD experience preferred but not essential
