Residential Home Design Specialist

This rewarding role reports to the Product Development Manager and is part of the head office Product Development team.

The focus is to support the continuing evolution of the company's award-winning home designs.

  • Achieve accurate 3D modeling of new house designs using ArchiCAD
  • Produce detailed documentation for use by internal departments
  • Analyse data critically to improve design and documentation quality
  • Liaise with designers as required for effective product development
  • Maintain an existing library of ArchiCAD modules and master plans
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant building codes for compliance with Australian Standards and the National Construction Code (NCC)

About you:

  • You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values
  • Demonstrate minimum educational qualification in Diploma of Building Design or equivalent
  • Show strong knowledge of construction processes and downstream impacts of design modifications
  • Have minimum 2 years' experience in Architectural Drafting within the residential home design sector
  • Be able to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Display effective time management skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Have previous ArchiCAD experience preferred but not essential

Candidates will be subject to satisfactory employment screening and may require completion of a National Police Check and pre-employment medical depending on the inherent requirements of the role.
