Home Design Draftsperson Role

This key position plays a vital role in the Product Development team. The successful candidate will contribute to the ongoing evolution of our award-winning home designs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • The ideal candidate will accurately model new house designs using ArchiCAD software;
  • Produce detailed documentation for internal stakeholders;
  • Employ critical analysis to enhance design and documentation quality;
  • Liaise with designers to ensure effective product development;
  • Maintain an existing library of ArchiCAD modules and master plans across the company;
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant building codes, adhering to Australian Standards and the National Construction Code (NCC).
Requirements
  • Diploma of Building Design or equivalent qualification;
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and downstream impacts of design modifications;
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Architectural Drafting for residential home design;
  • Able to work collaboratively within a team environment;
  • Effective time management skills and ability to work under pressure;
  • Previous ArchiCAD experience preferred but not essential.

The successful Home Design Draftsperson will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
