As a Budgeting Specialist - Financial Operations, you will be part of the finance team responsible for implementing and maintaining financial systems that optimize budgeting and reporting processes.

Salary

A competitive annual salary range of $106,025 - $117,363, plus employer's contribution to superannuation (currently 11.5%) and annual leave loading.

Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to lead the adoption and development of the AM's Financial Business Intelligence tool for budgeting and reporting. You will work closely with stakeholders across the Australian Museum to address their needs and integrate them into system reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, document, and implement financial systems to meet organizational reporting requirements;
  • Collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and problem-solving;
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy between systems, leveraging SAP and business intelligence tools like Calumo/Cognos/TM1;
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Australian Museum's business systems and processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • An appropriate tertiary qualification or relevant equivalent professional experience;
  • Demonstrated experience with SAP and business intelligence tools;
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

About The Role
