Senior HVAC Business Development Manager

This position involves planning and developing business opportunities in the climate market, specifically in humidification and evaporative cooling segments. The successful candidate will develop key customer relationships, achieve sales targets, and provide technical leadership in the climate category.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver end-user engagement programs for HVAC products.
  • Seek out new market opportunities and conduct in-field customer visits.
  • Assist with brand development activities and engage consulting engineers to develop a customer pull strategy.
  • Demonstrate and assist with technical problem solving on site, becoming a technical leader within the HVAC product range.
Requirements:
  • Technical knowledge in psychometrics and/or HVAC is highly valued.
  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Trade Qualification, or similar.
  • Multilevel customer relationship management skills/experience.
  • Industry sales/technical experience for 5+ years within the HVAC&R field.
Other Information:

This role requires strong customer-facing and market presence via direct and indirect strategies, supported by a superior technical offer. Medium frequency interstate and intrastate travel is required.

The ideal candidate will be self-managing, performance-driven, and able to close the sale. They will possess sales project management skills to handle long lead time sales cycles and have local subject matter expertise.
