Finance Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the finance function and providing strategic guidance to our Derivatives Trading business.

About the Role:

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and implement budgeting and forecasting processes to drive business growth and improve financial performance.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders, including management and external partners.
  • Commercial Insights: Analyze market trends and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow forecasting and manage working capital to ensure efficient operations.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, and maintain accurate records.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Finance Manager role with exposure to Derivatives Trading.
  • First-rate communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Accounting degree and CA/CPA qualification.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Derivatives products and pricing.
  • Highly numerate with excellent academic results in mathematics subjects.
  • Advanced Excel skills (SQL/VBA or Python would also be favourably viewed).
