Senior Software Developer for Derivatives Trading System

At Anton Murray Consulting, we are partnering with a leading derivatives trading firm to find an experienced Senior C# software developer.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing new functionalities and strategies in their proprietary trading system.

This role involves building high-quality solutions that meet speed, functionality, and stability requirements. In addition to functional delivery, the successful applicant must be able to perform comprehensive testing over changes and produce detailed documentation.

The selected individual must have experience working in Market Making/High Frequency Trading companies, utilizing Microsoft technologies such as C#/.NET to implement technical solutions to complex problems.

We require someone who can design, implement, document, and maintain changes to the system while communicating effectively with all team members.

The chosen candidate will work closely with traders and developers to ensure the delivery of feasible technical solutions and take ownership of problems to follow through to a solution.

Key skills required for this position include:

  • C#, .NET, Object-Oriented Design, Socket programming
  • Test Automation
  • Multithreaded software architectures
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns
  • Code profiling, optimization, and complexity analysis

In addition to the essential skills, we would also like the candidate to have experience with algorithmic programming and optimization problems, mathematical thinking, WPF, and working in Market Making/HFT companies.

Our client is offering a highly competitive salary package, estimated at $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
