About the Role

  • Risk Management Expertise: Lead the development and implementation of market risk frameworks, ensuring consistency across all trading activities.
  • Risk Identification and Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement stress tests and scenario analysis for derivatives and delta1 strategies.
  • Operational Risk Framework: Host an operational risk committee to analyze trading incidents and mitigate risks.
  • Daily Monitoring and Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely risk measures, controls, and processes are in place.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, econometrics, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 6-8 years of work experience in front office risk management at a proprietary trading firm, hedge fund, or similar.
  • Derivatives and Equities Risk Management: Proven experience in derivatives or equities risk management, preferably with a focus on Asian markets.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage projects spanning multiple stakeholders, teams, and locations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python programming and knowledge of SQL.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
