Main Responsibilities:

  • Compile and reconcile trade, transactions, and positions.
  • Prepare and submit creation and redemption instructions for proprietary trading.
  • Assist with maintaining position, profit and loss, and information exchange.
  • Use algorithmic trading tools under instruction from traders.
  • Update and manage all trading systems, proprietary trading applications, and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Act as liaison between desk traders and other dealers, traders, or brokers and all internal departments.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a trade support/product control/trader’s assistant role for Derivatives trading.
  • Knowledge of Options/Futures/Derivatives products.
  • Relevant degree – e.g. Finance, Commerce/Business, Actuarial, etc.
  • Working experience with Python/VBA/SQL.
  • Very high attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Fluent English skills and full Australian working rights.
