About the Role

As the Go-to-Market Leader, you will play a pivotal role in defining, developing, maintaining, delivering, and executing in-market a pipeline of consumer energy resource propositions that are commercial, scalable, and desirable for customers.

Reporting to the Head of Customer Assets and working closely with commercial and VPP orchestration teams, you will be responsible for:

  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Identifying target markets, developing compelling value propositions, and crafting go-to-market strategies that resonate with consumers.
  • Product Roadmap Development: Developing a product roadmap aligned to strategy, market sizing, segmentation, competition, regulatory environment, product, and customer insights.
  • Customer-Centric Product Design: Establishing an end-to-end repeatable process for product and service design and ensuring a strong customer bias in defining customer benefit lead propositions that are both differentiated and distinctive.
  • Communications and Content Strategy: Establishing and leading content strategy across a portfolio of GTM initiatives, including website improvements to sales conversion.
  • Product and Customer Value Management: Ensuring our in-market products are delivering for our customers and product improvements are identified to meet changing market needs.
  • Team Leadership: Managing a high-performing team that covers the breadth of UX, content, product, CX, and CA marketing.

  • Leadership Experience: Tertiary qualifications with extensive experience leading product and marketing teams.
  • Industry Expertise: Previous energy or services sector industry preferred.
  • Product Development Experience: Experience in developing and launching customer-centric products to market within the energy industry or another mass market industry with a strong service overlay and long-term customer relationships.
  • Team Coaching and Development: Leadership experience and the ability to coach and develop a high-performing team.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: An innovative approach to problem-solving with a strong ability to formulate, synthesize, and analyze unstructured complex problems to provide meaningful advice and insights.
