Job Title: Medical Records Coordinator
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Records Coordinator. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing documents for scanning in a timely and efficient manner.
- Scanning paper medical records into an electronic format using specialized software systems.
- Entering accurate information into various systems, including iPM and SMR.
- Handling incoming telephone calls and written requests from internal and external parties.
- Tracking the location of all medical records within the department and across the hospital.
- Facilitating the timely transfer of medical records or health information to other departments and sites.
This role is based in Kingston, Melbourne, Victoria.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour key responsibilities as a Medical Records Coordinator will include:
- Document preparation and scanning.
- Data entry and accuracy.
- Communication with internal and external parties.
- Record tracking and transfer.
We are looking for an individual who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively.
