Aboriginal Health Advocate

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic individual to fill the role of Aboriginal Health Advocate. This position plays a vital part in delivering high-quality care to Aboriginal patients by combining advocacy and community links.

Key Responsibilities:- Advocating for Aboriginal patients throughout their hospital journey
- Developing strong relationships with local Indigenous communities and organizations
- Assisting in creating hospital programs that meet Aboriginal-specific health standards
This role is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to improving health outcomes for Aboriginal patients.
Requirements:- Hold or aspire to hold a Certificate III qualification in Aboriginal Primary Health Care or a related field
- Be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish effective working relationships
- Have knowledge of community-based support services and programs
- Possess a Class C Driver's License
