About the Role

Talenza is seeking an experienced Economic Policy Analyst to join our NSW Government client. As a key member of the Early Childhood Outcomes (ECO) division, you will be responsible for providing high-quality research and economic analysis to support policy and funding decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain networks and stakeholder relationships to identify opportunities for project management, methodologies, software, and modelling techniques.
  • Collaborate with other areas of the directorate and division to coordinate and develop analysis of the impact of reforms and policy proposals.
  • Prepare quality evidence-based written briefs, proposals, correspondence, and reports to inform department executives and the fund's board members.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of policy experience, preferably in the Government/Public sector.
  • Experience with business cases and comfortable working in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • A competitive rate of $650 - $750 per day + Super.
  • A 6-month contract with great WFH flexibility.
