Job Opportunity - Director (Sydney)

The Director role within our Planning and Infrastructure Economics group is a new leadership position in our Sydney practice to support the success of our people and clients. As a seasoned industry specialist, you will collaborate with our national team and drive local opportunities in the NSW market by:

  • Developing policies, strategies, feasibility studies, and business cases for transport, social, and energy sector investments.
  • Providing client-facing solutions, delivering proposals, and managing project delivery.
  • Establishing and maintaining local client relationships and building presence at industry events.
  • Offering subject matter expertise internally and externally in the transport, social, and energy markets.
  • Building a cohesive and delivery-focused team, with growth and learning as a key focus.
  • Supporting or unlocking exposure to new or different clients' sectors and works.

Requirements

You are considered a specialist in transport, social, or energy infrastructure across advisory, economics, or strategic planning. Facilitating better community outcomes through enhanced infrastructure planning is a passion and expertise. You are an active thought leader in a range of strategic, technical, and business issues impacting our clients and markets. Your qualifications, skills, and experience include:

  • Leadership experiences in similar consulting, advisory, or in-house roles across transport, social, and energy infrastructure projects, locally or globally.
  • A proven ability to contribute to the successful generation of new work opportunities.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and strategic thinking skills and demonstrated experience in economic, financial assessment, investment decisions, and strategic planning of infrastructure projects.
  • The ability to build and maintain client relationships and develop a presence at industry networking events.
