Job Title: Commercial Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Director to join our team at Resourceful Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the commercial function and driving the development and expansion of our commercial activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the commercial team and oversee all commercial aspects of projects, including commercial analysis and modeling, financing, off-take, and government tender opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a high-performing financial modeling function within the team.
  • Support the Development Team, Project Directors, and Project Managers with commercial and financial modeling input needed to progress their projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, including banks, OEMs, and contractors.
  • Mentor team members, providing constructive feedback and growing internal capability.

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing major transactions, preferably project finance transactions.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to review and interrogate financial models.
  • A passion for coaching and mentoring.
  • Relevant degree in Commerce, Economics, Law, Engineering, or similar.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel interstate.
  • Ability to plan and manage diverse projects.
  • Highly developed research, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills.
