The Commercial Content Director will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial content strategies across print, digital, social, and video for Coles. Supported by a team of high-performing creatives, this role is ideal for individuals with a broad range of format expertise and a desire to bring a team together to do great work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures all content created, across all platforms, is future-focused, fit for channel, and delivers on creative excellence.
- Builds and manages key client relationships to ensure stakeholders are informed and satisfied.
- Develops multi-channel content strategies that deliver on brief and budget.
- Drives ideation and delivery of concepts across all channels (print, video, social, and digital).
- Drives a culture of innovation and creativity.
- Assists the strategy team throughout the proposal response process.
- Works comfortably with commercial partners to ensure all commitments and objectives are met.
- Manages editorial budgets and costs.
- Pursues category, competitor, and channel content trends globally and locally.
- Drives operational and production efficiencies.
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of experience in content creation across various platforms and formats.
- Deep understanding of the food category and its trends.
- Proven ability to manage senior teams with diverse skill sets.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with clients.
- A passion for content in all forms and staying up-to-date with global trends and production styles.
- Familiarity with data-based ideation and audience connection.
- Ability to manage concurrent deadlines and campaigns.
