About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Work Health and Safety (WHS) professional to join our team at Krispy Kreme. As a WHS Advisor, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest possible WHS program and promoting a positive WHS culture within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the WHS program and provide guidance to manufacturing and retail field-based teams across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Assist the Sustainability and Safety Manager in maintaining the highest possible WHS program.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the Sustainability and Safety Manager based on research and analysis of current trends and performance.
  • Support Site Leaders and Management teams with consultation, incident response, investigation, root cause analysis, emergency preparedness, and risk management protocols.
  • Embed an effective Quality Management System (QMS) into the organization, ensuring document and data control protocols are sound and meet statutory retention requirements.
  • Meet or exceed annual WHS Department goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote and action Health and Safety concerns.
  • Provide regular support and guidance to Field teams, participating in area and site meetings to promote and action Health and Safety concerns.
  • Provide frequent feedback and reports to the Sustainability and Safety Manager and other Senior Management teams on standards, identifying areas of improvement using trend data.
Requirements
  • Possess a passion for WHS and the ability to be creative in its application.
  • Knowledge of relevant ANZ WHS regulatory framework.
  • Application and knowledge of ISO standards within a FMCG business.
  • Knowledge of audit principles and techniques.
  • Ability to identify root causes or trends in reporting, with a continually improving mindset.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to use initiative to problem solve.
  • Ability to positively influence and lead by example.
  • Effective business communication and report writing skills.
  • Self-motivation, with the ability to be hands-on with a can-do attitude.
  • Be flexible and be willing to be a team player.
  • Commitment to work with a culturally diverse workforce.
  • Willingness and ability to occasionally travel within ANZ.
  • Confidence, passion, and enthusiasm for the customer experience and the Krispy Kreme Brand.
  • Competent Windows and Microsoft Office Skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Planning and organisational skills.
Education
  • Tertiary or equivalent formal qualification in Work Health Safety (minimum cert IV).
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Word/Power/Excel qualification.
  • Lead Auditor qualifications (ISO
Experience
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience working within an integrated WHSE system within a FMCG business.
  • Well-rehearsed in undertaking integrated risk assessments, conducting internal inspections, and facilitating WHS consultative sessions.
  • Operating within a certified ISO QMS.
  • Experience in the interpretation and application of Health, Safety legislation/statutory requirements.
  • Experience in developing operational programs for multi-site business.
  • Industry knowledge of the Food and Beverage category.
