About the Role
The Government of South Australia is seeking a highly skilled Work Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor Work Health and Safety (WHS) systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide expert WHS advice and guidance to staff and management to promote a culture of safety and well-being.
- Contribute to corporate WHS initiatives and projects to drive continuous improvement and excellence.
Requirements
- Certificate 4 in OHS&W/ WHS or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in WHS auditing and compliance.
