About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Work Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Krispy Kreme. As a key member of our Sustainability and Safety team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest possible Work Health and Safety (WHS) Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the WHS Program, providing guidance to manufacturing and retail field-based teams across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Promote a positive WHS culture that encourages staff to maintain a high level of awareness and compliance to achieve Krispy Kreme's WHS objectives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the Sustainability and Safety Manager based on research and analysis of current trends and performance.
  • Support Site Leaders and Management teams with consultation, incident response, investigation, root cause analysis, emergency preparedness, and risk management protocols.
  • Embed an effective Quality Management System (QMS) into the organization, ensuring document and data control protocols are sound and meet statutory retention requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve WHS Department goals.
  • Provide regular support and guidance to Field teams, participating in area and site meetings to promote and action Health and Safety concerns.
  • Develop and maintain reports on standards, identifying areas of improvement using trend data.
Requirements
  • Possess a passion for WHS and the ability to be creative in its application.
  • Knowledge of relevant ANZ WHS regulatory framework.
  • Application and knowledge of ISO standards within a FMCG business.
  • Knowledge of audit principles and techniques.
  • Ability to identify root causes or trends in reporting, with a continually improving mindset.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to use initiative to problem solve.
  • Ability to positively influence and lead by example.
  • Effective business communication and report writing skills.
  • Self-motivation, with the ability to be hands-on with a can-do attitude.
  • Be flexible and be willing to be a team player.
  • Commitment to work with a culturally diverse workforce.
  • Willingness and ability to occasionally travel within ANZ.
  • Confidence, passion, and enthusiasm for the customer experience and the Krispy Kreme Brand.
  • Competent Windows and Microsoft Office Skills.

Education and Experience
  • Tertiary or equivalent formal qualification in Work Health Safety (minimum cert IV).
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Word/PowerPoint/Excel qualification.
