Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing financial statements and tax returns with accuracy and efficiency;
  • Advising clients on taxation strategies and providing expert guidance on SMSF compliance;
  • Liaising with the ATO and other external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication;
  • Leading training sessions and mentoring junior staff members to help grow their knowledge and skills;
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a talented Senior Accountant with at least 5 years' experience in a similar role within public practice. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of building and nurturing client relationships and possess the following qualifications:

  • CA or CPA qualified;
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within public practice;
  • Expertise in accounting, taxation, and SMSF's;
  • Demonstrated experience in a client-facing role;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a full-time position based in South Melbourne, offering a competitive salary package, including superannuation and professional development opportunities.
