Job Title: Senior Financial StrategistOverview

This C-Suite leadership opportunity provides strategic financial planning advice and recommendations to the CEO, management team, and Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide accurate, efficient, and timely financial information and resources to the Board of Directors, Management team, staff members, clients, auditors, funding bodies, ASIC, ACNC, ATO, and other relevant government departments.
  2. Ensure the organisation remains compliant with all relevant legislation and regulations.
  3. Represent the organisation at external forums and collaborate with other aged care service providers to ensure current programs and processes best meet the needs of service users.
  4. Identify and report gaps in service provision that could be met by current or potential SCHMMS programs or other service providers.
Requirements
  • Rélevant tertiary Accounting qualifications - CPA or CA.
  • Extensive experience in accrual accounting – MYOB preferred.
  • Diploma/degree in accountancy.
  • Understanding of both the community sector (government funding requirements) and the commercial business sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development or maintenance of strategic financial systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in office management and administrative systems including staff supervision (minimum of 3 years).
  • A high standard of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of and commitment to client-centered service delivery.
