Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Services Auditor to join our team.

About the Role:

As a Senior Financial Services Auditor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audit services to our financial services clients. You will work closely with senior staff to ensure compliance with established internal control procedures and identify potential risks and areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead fieldwork teams in the delivery of audit engagements to financial services clients;
  • Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures through examination of records, reports, and documentation;
  • Assist with examining and analyzing records to determine control effectiveness or compliance;
  • Verify transactions by comparing items to documentation;
  • Help identify internal control, compliance, operational, or accounting issues;
  • Liaise with clients to execute fieldwork;
  • Complete audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings;
  • Assist with preparation of reports for review by Partner/Manager;
  • Contribute to meetings and make effective contributions to meetings/presentations;
  • Apply knowledge of client/firm/industry trends and current issues;

Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary degree and/or qualification;
  • 12+ months of experience in a similar role, preferably in financial services; Strong Communication Skills and attention to detail are essential;
