We are seeking a highly skilled Trust Accountant to join our team, responsible for ensuring accurate and timely accounting related to the Pepper Lending Systems. This role will also support other accounting activities related to Special Purpose Vehicles, mainly related to funding and Trust expenses.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Reconciliation of daily loans to bank transactions for various Warehouse & Securitisation Trust accounts held by Pepper Finance Corporation.
  • Reconciliation of various Trust collection bank accounts relating to lending systems
  • Preparation of daily cash payments
  • Perform month end works as required
  • Support Operations team with processing of certain financial adjustments in the mortgage platform

About you:

  • Degree in Accounting with (or working towards) CPA/CA
  • Understanding month end processes and reconciliations but also excited to improve on processes
  • Intermediate level of excel skills applied to the bank and portfolio reconciliations and variances identification.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Accounting or Finance.
  • Similar industry experience including insurance, legal or real estate.

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including:
