Job Title: Senior Rehabilitation Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a Senior Rehabilitation Consultant.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting clients with injuries or health conditions to achieve return to work and return to health outcomes. This will involve conducting vocational assessments, case management, and providing psychological support to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients in employment or education under various schemes;
  • Conduct vocational assessments, ETE assessment, earning capacity assessment, employability assessment, transferable skills assessment, and labour market research;
  • Case management, including manageable caseloads and support from rehabilitation assistants;
  • Apply clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;
  • Work with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
  • Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals;
  • Assist those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in occupational rehabilitation industry preferred;
  • Tertiary qualifications in psychology, health sciences or rehabilitation counselling;
  • General or provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a psychologist or eligibility for associate or full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC);
  • Fabulous communication skills, compassion, kindness, empathy, well-developed time management skills, and a current NSW driver's license with access to own car and comprehensive insurance.
