Job Summary:

The Injury Management Specialist role is pivotal in mitigating workplace injuries by effectively managing the rehabilitation process for injured employees. This includes providing professional advice and guidance to ensure a smooth return-to-work process.

  • Coordinate and administer workers compensation insurance premiums estimates and actuals with payroll team management.
  • Manage and coordinate injury management across various locations by case managing and providing professional advice to relevant managers and Return to Work Coordinators.
  • Liaise with insurers in different states and territories to ensure effective claims management and successful rehabilitation of injured employees.
  • Maintain working knowledge of all relevant workers compensation legal frameworks in Australia.
  • Identify root causes of workplace injuries through thorough investigations to prevent future occurrences.
  • Manage and administer TMHA workers compensation insurance policies, including submitting required information to insurers, reviewing, and projecting claims cost and premium cost.
  • Advise and assist management with day-to-day implementation of injury management strategies and activities to ensure compliance with legislation.
