Work as a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Consultant - Rehabilitation Counsellor to join our team in Sydney on a full-time or part-time basis. As a member of our close-knit team, you will work closely with individuals who have sustained psychological or physical injuries in the workplace.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough vocational assessments to identify clients' strengths and challenges
- Liaising with clients, insurers, medical practitioners, and employers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support for recovery and return-to-work initiatives
- Developing targeted intervention strategies to enhance life independence, vocational capacity, and functional performance
- Familiarity with various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes
To excel in this role, you will require:
- A degree in Rehabilitation Counselling and ASORC Accreditation
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- An inclusive attitude towards working with diverse cultural groups
- Demonstrated determination to deliver high-quality customer service
- Punctuality and effective time management
- Willingsness to travel (current vehicle and driver's license compulsory)
