Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team at Macro Recruitment. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting and growing sales by providing process measurement consultation and solutions to customers in the mining and minerals industry.

About the Role:

  • Reporting to Regional Sales Manager: You will be working closely with our Regional Sales Manager to develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets.
  • Product Knowledge: You will be required to have in-depth knowledge of our products, including their features, benefits, and applications.
  • Prospecting and Sales: You will be responsible for continually prospecting for new opportunities and maintaining regular face-to-face and phone contact with all clients.
  • Customer Management: You will be managing customers to create tailored business solutions and developing and recommending annual sales forecasts for the region.
  • Market Analysis: You will be monitoring the market within the region of control and advising management of changes in competition, product availability, quality reports, or related matters.
  • Team Collaboration: You will be collaborating with other internal sales personnel or external partners as nominated in the planning and executing of special projects and programs within the regions.
  • New Business Development: You will be developing new business opportunities with new and existing clients and attending to key accounts personally to ensure satisfaction.
  • Training and Development: You will be participating in the recruitment, selection, and training of sales staff.

Requirements:

  • Sales Engineering Experience: You will need to have sales engineering experience in the mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation disciplines.
  • Qualifications: You will need to have a certificate level, diploma level, or degree level qualification in mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation disciplines.
