Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of Datadog's product offerings and observability trends.
  • Contribute to the success of strategic sales opportunities by collaborating with account teams to devise and enrich sales strategies.
  • Deliver tailored customer demos, executive briefings, and product training sessions to ensure prospective customers have a comprehensive understanding of our offerings.
  • Contribute use cases, best practices, trends, and product positioning to Datadog's sales strategy.
  • Work alongside account teams to build relationships with customers and provide guidance on observability modernization.
  • Proactively engage and communicate with customers and Datadog teams regarding product feedback and competitive landscape.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in Sales Engineering or as a Chief Technology Officer deploying observability & security technology.
  • Strong entrepreneurial ability and desire to make a large impact.
  • Passionate about educating customers on observability and security risks.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the competitive landscape.
  • Experience in programming/scripting with Java, Python, Ruby, Go, Node.JS, PHP, and.NET.
  • Extensive background in Enterprise positioning and line of business value selling.
  • Able to travel up to 40% of the time.
