Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in understanding customer needs, offering and promoting our cutting-edge products and services. You will collaborate closely with sales and engineering teams to drive sales growth and achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers, including end-users, consultants, system integrators, switchboard builders, and OEMs.
  • Identify and pursue new business or project opportunities, providing commercial and technical solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to deliver desired results.
  • Generate new opportunities through marketing promotions, cold calling, and other outreach methods.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and competitors to effectively position our solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations for targeted customers.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss business opportunities, solutions, and new initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Electrical trade qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience.
  • Familiarity with PLC programming or automation systems.
  • Proficient in Windows applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proactive and positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to negotiate and influence effectively.
  • Ability to connect with customers at all levels and build long-term relationships.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently for on-the-road sales activities.
