Lactalis Australia, the world's largest dairy business, is seeking an exceptional National Sales Manager - Food Service to join its leadership team. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to drive commercial success and develop your skills in a supportive and high-performing team.

About the Role:

This key position has responsibility for owning the field execution of our brands within the Food Service marketplace. As a National Sales Manager, you will lead a team of State Sales Managers and Food Service Specialists, guiding them to achieve outstanding results. You will be accountable for joint ownership of total foodservice commercial outcomes, including achieving value, volume, and margin budgets.

  • Develop and execute strategies to optimize profitable sales performance for Food Service.
  • Analyze and monitor sales and financial data weekly to ensure results are on track.
  • Liaise with field operations teams to ensure Food Service focus and clear objective setting.
Key Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in FMCG sales/marketing/commercial roles.
  • A degree qualification in a business-related discipline.
  • Advanced commercial acumen, including budgeting, P&L to EBIT.
  • Category management experience, including principles and levers.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a competitive environment knowledge.
  • Customer focus, channel, and retailer understanding.
  • Trade marketing skills, including market activation.
