About the Role:
  • Direct and manage the allocation, utilisation, and deployment of production resources to ensure efficient execution of the yard plan.
  • Develop, implement, and manage processes that eliminate above rail factors impacting supply chain performance and daily schedule attainment.
  • Grow and maintain knowledge, skills, and attributes of self and the team, ensuring clear, current, and measurable goals and objectives aligned to the business plan and targets.
  • Provide advice, coaching, and support to direct operational employees to achieve performance objectives, promote high-performance teams, and support continuous improvement activities.
  • Ensure all business activities and employees within the position's area of control comply with relevant legislative, statutory obligations, and organisational policies, standards, and procedures.
