Quarry Operations Leader
The successful candidate will have direct responsibility for all aspects of operations, including personnel management, plant maintenance, and fleet coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Ensure that quarry operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, meeting or exceeding company performance standards.
- Team Management: Supervise staff and contractors to ensure they are properly trained and equipped to perform their tasks.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement plans to maximize efficiency and productivity, minimize downtime, and optimize performance.
- Compliance: Ensure that all quarry operations comply with relevant legislation, regulations, and internal policies.
Requirements:
- Certifications: Hold a Quarry Managers Certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Strong leader with working knowledge of Safety Management Systems, relevant legislation, and regulations.
- Skills: Excellent leadership & communication skills, experience in quarry operations, and a thorough understanding of Drill & Blast and Quarry development.
