Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of Australian HR legislation and frameworks, including Fair Work, Awards, ER and IR matters. They will also possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously, managing sensitive matters and building quiet influence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partnering with supervisors and managers on HR matters ranging from onboarding to conduct, performance, IR and injury management
  • Coaching frontline leaders and supporting them through people-related challenges
  • Responding to on-the-ground HR issues with sound judgement and a calm, considered approach
  • Supporting change, workforce planning and capability initiatives
  • Working closely with WHS and operations teams to create a safe and compliant environment
Requirements
  • 5 years' experience in a generalist HR or HRBP role, ideally in operational or multi-site environments
  • Strong knowledge of Australian HR legislation and frameworks, including Fair Work, Awards, ER and IR matters
  • A relationship builder with excellent interpersonal skills and a bias for action
  • Able to work autonomously, manage sensitive matters, and build quiet influence
  • Based in or open to relocating to Geraldton
