Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and distributing agendas and minutes for council meetings and sessions
  • Attending council meetings to record minutes and provide assistance to the public
  • Assisting with council meeting administrative procedures
  • Preparing authorisation requests and updating policy registers
  • Maintaining electronic document management systems and producing regular reports

Requirements:

  • Tertiary studies in governance or administration, or lesser formal qualifications with relevant experience
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide high-quality documentation and reports
  • Commitment to customer service and ability to communicate with diverse groups
  • Organisational skills and time management
