Human Resources Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Manager to join our dynamic hospitality team at Holiday Inn. As an HR Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping our company culture and ensuring that our team feels valued and supported.
Key Responsibilities:- Foster a Positive Work Environment: Continue to develop and maintain an engaged and positive working environment for all colleagues.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Lead, mentor, and guide hotel leaders during the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring that all new colleagues have received the necessary tools to succeed.
- Employee Management: Sustain and embed the use of branded people tools to recruit, train, recognize, reward, and retain top talent.
- Compliance and Policy: Manage employee records and ensure compliance with relevant employee laws, industrial relations legislation, and payroll compliance.
- Development and Management: Develop and manage policies and procedures to support the hotel's operations.
- Wellbeing and Safety: Cooperate and partner with the leadership team to implement workplace health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives.
- Investigations and Compliance: Participate in investigations of injuries and illnesses arising from workplace activities.
- Employer Branding: Partner with the leadership team to ensure the hotel lives its promise of the employer brand and creates a leadership culture focused on engagement.
- HR Data Analysis: Prepare and utilize HR data to inform and guide hotel leaders and enable strategic planning and forecasting.
- Talent Management: Understand the talent landscape and drive the talent management process to ensure robust succession and people planning.
- Employee Relations: Support end-to-end employee relations, including performance management and performance improvement plans.
- Education: High school diploma, secondary education, or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years' related experience in Human Resources or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skills: Fluent English language skills; some college courses in Human Resources, Employment Law, or a related field preferred.
