Senior Claims Management Professional

About the Role:
DXC Technology Australia Pty Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Claims Management Professional to join their team in New South Wales. As a key member of the DXC Claims Management team, you will play a critical role in managing the end-to-end process of Pre Injury Average Weekly Earnings (PIAWE) for injured workers in accordance with the Workers Injury Rehabilitation Compensation Act.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, and providers, to ensure seamless communication and efficient claims management.
- Manage escalations and complaints, utilising problem-solving skills and high attention to detail to resolve complex issues.
- Provide detailed explanations to clients regarding the calculation of PIAWE, considering relevant factors and legislation.
- Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, industry codes, company policies, and procedures, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret payroll data, Employment Benefits Agreements (EBAs), and contracts of service.
- Intermediate computer skills, with proficiency in software applications relevant to claims management.
- Previous experience in customer service and administration, with a focus on relationship-building and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse situations and drive outcomes.
