About the Role

St Luke's Grammar School is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the Learning Enhancement Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to support students with diverse learning needs, including gifted and talented students, students with disabilities, and students who require additional support.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, with experience in leading teams and developing programs to support student learning. They will be able to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents, and will have a commitment to pastoral care and the social and emotional well-being of students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to support students with diverse learning needs, including gifted and talented students, students with disabilities, and students who require additional support.
  • Lead the Learning Enhancement Department, including managing staff and developing programs to support student learning.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to identify and respond to the learning needs of students.
  • Develop and implement assessments and evaluations to measure student progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents to ensure that students receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies and organizations to access resources and support for students.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in education and make recommendations for improvements to the school's programs and services.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in education, with a focus on supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and developing programs to support student learning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • Commitment to pastoral care and the social and emotional well-being of students.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
