About The RoleThe role of the Support Worker is to provide exceptional service while supporting clients to meet their goals as set out in their NDIS plan. This includes:
- Providing intensive, flexible, and responsive client-focused support to assist clients in improving their physical and mental health.
- Developing connections with the community and helping clients achieve their goals.
- Assisting with daily living tasks, domestic assistance, social support, transportation, community outings, and other needs.
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Providing support and assistance to clients with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Accompanying clients on community outings and social events to promote social interaction and community engagement.
- Assisting clients with transportation to appointments and activities.
- Providing emotional support and companionship to clients.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current full driver's license.
- Comprehensive car insurance.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (Service NSW).
- A current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including Booster Shot).
We are happy to provide in-house training to those with little to no experience in the NDIS industry. If you have the right persona and the willingness to learn, we're happy to invest in your time and future.
This is a casual ongoing basis with the potential for full-time employment in the future. We're offering an attractive hourly fee that begins at $27-$31 depending on experience and availability.
