Senior Commercial Category Manager

This role supports the development of commercial category plans, providing actionable insights and assisting with retailer execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop clear commercial category visions in collaboration with the category lead, considering shopper, customer, and business needs.
  • Drive commercial execution alignment by managing the sales and marketing teams to ensure business and customer priorities are met.
  • Improve category development scores as measured through the Advantage Group Survey each year.
  • Support Category Development Manager in external customer communications, including reviews, planning days, and joint customer planning.
  • Build strong relationships across the broader commercial team, including Sales, Marketing, Field Team, Finance, and Revenue Growth Management.
Requirements:
  • Experience using industry scan and shopper data, specifically IRI Scan & Panel, Quantium, and Synergy.
  • Demonstrated customer-facing experience, including account management, category development, field management, and marketing.
  • Strong analytical ability, verbal and written communication skills, and time management.
