Job Overview

As a seasoned commercial leader, you will oversee all aspects of commercial management for FM services across our client's national portfolio. This critical role ensures successful delivery, manages costs, and maintains compliance with contracts.

You will be responsible for regular presence in Milton Keynes, where both the client and Colliers team are based, while also traveling across the UK to manage commercial issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Triage of commercial issues: Respond promptly to and address all commercial issues.
  • Contract Alignment: Ensure services are executed according to commercial principles outlined in respective agreements.
  • Support service teams: Identify and offer support to gaps in collective commercial understanding.
  • Client team service contract support: Support management of FM suppliers in line with contractual agreements (MSA).
  • Cost Management: Validate invoice submissions and additional costs outside semi comp agreement ensuring transparency and accuracy.
  • Commercial Change Management: Manage and validate change control process impacting contracts or commercial aspects.
  • Budget control: Support budget management and reporting for costs outside fixed price, highlighting out-of-tolerance thresholds.
  • Commercial Management: Understand contractual levers and support clients during agreement term.
Requirements

We seek a candidate with:

  • Proven track record managing commercial elements across national FM portfolios with contract values over £30 million.
  • Exceptional commercial acumen with deep experience in contract management, cost control, and commercial governance.
  • Experience working at similar levels managing core FM services in complex environments.
  • Sector experience within banking or financial services is highly desirable.
  • Strong operational FM background with clear understanding of pricing, gearing ratios, benchmarking, and key metrics driving cost application.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and work centrally in Milton Keynes as required.
