Director of Strategic Talent Development

We are seeking a highly skilled Director to lead the development and implementation of a holistic talent strategy that addresses current and future organisational objectives on a national scale.

This role will be pivotal in delivering exceptional care through strategic workforce planning, ensuring high-calibre services across rural, regional, and remote communities.

The organisation prioritises diversity and wellbeing, ensuring all individuals are treated as equals, which transcends into our organisational design and structure.

About the Role

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing enterprise-wide organisation work design outcomes aligned with our transformation agenda.
  • Partnering with senior leaders and other key stakeholders to understand and implement strategic and operational requirements, forecasting and creating workforce planning initiatives.
  • Improving attraction, sourcing, and hiring of high-quality talent by identifying key needs of the organisation and developing an aligned Talent Acquisition Strategy.
About You

We seek a candidate with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline, along with experience in organisational design, management consultancy, or internal HR framework development.
  • Demonstrated ability to design tools and enablement frameworks for Business Partners to operationalise in the business.
  • Significant expertise and knowledge in HR best practices, workforce strategy development, external labour markets, in-house people analytics to identify emerging talent trends.
  • Experience partnering up to executive and senior level to fulfill the people strategy.
