Strategic Leader for Organisational Growth

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the leadership and mission of a respected organisation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Shape the strategic direction of the organisation
    • Ensure effective governance and oversight
    • Support the performance and development of senior leaders
    • Contribute to the formulation and approval of strategic plans
    • Review and approve business plans and budgets
    • Develop Board and organisational policies
    • Engage with stakeholders and build relationships on behalf of the organisation
    • Identify skills required by the Board and potential candidates for Board positions

Requirements:

  • Attend approximately 11 Board meetings and other special meetings per year
  • Participate in relevant learning and development opportunities
  • Some travel may be required
  • Regular conference calls for management, financial reporting, and compliance issues
  • Two residentials (1-2 nights, 2 days) per year for Board site visits and strategy meetings

Director Remuneration:

  • Remunerated to attract and retain qualified directors and committee members
  • Base fee includes expected involvement in a minimum of one committee
