Overview

Director, Strategic Partnerships (Industry) role at The University of Queensland. The successful applicant will support the Executive Director, Strategic Partnerships in delivering UQ's ambitions to be part of the solution for industry challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Strategic Partnerships Office's major portfolios of work, including development and stewardship of enterprise level partnerships and major initiatives.
  • Triage industry engagement, progress a pipeline of major initiatives, and support relationship management.
  • Lead the development, implementation and monitoring of the Strategic Partnerships function budgets, policies, governance, strategies, digital systems, operational and business plans.

The University of Queensland (UQ) is a university ranked in the world's top 50. The Strategic Partnerships Office is responsible for developing and ensuring a strategic approach to major industry partnerships within the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) portfolio.

About This Opportunity

The Director, Strategic Partnerships (Industry) will support the Executive Director in delivering UQ's ambitions related to industry partnerships. The role leads portfolios and manages a team, with responsibilities spanning triaging industry engagement, pipeline development, and partnership support, along with budgeting and governance.
