Job Summary

The role of a Project Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager is critical in ensuring the well-being of all personnel involved in a construction project.

This position requires a high level of expertise in health, safety and environmental management, with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies to mitigate risks and promote a safe working environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current legislation and regulations, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures to align with company objectives.
  • Conduct regular reviews and risk analysis to identify potential hazards and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Provide training and advice to team members and subcontractors on HSE best practices and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Cert IV in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a WHS role within the construction industry, preferably with a head contractor.
  • Strong understanding of current OH&S legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
